college? do i need a scholarship? I live in England and am interested in trying to play college basketball in america. I have found various websites that help you get a scholarship. If i just applied and payed for it all myself would there be as much of a chance of being on that college's basketball team as there would be if i got a basketball scholarship?If you know anything about the way it works please help.

Try to contact the universities that you are interested in and ask them about sports scholarships out of the country, they will most likely be able to assist you. Good Luck!
